Our trip begins in Lisbon on May 30, 2027 at 6pm. We will meet at our hotel where you will be warmly greeted by your trip leader and introduced to your group before heading to dinner together.

A Morning Exploring Lisbon Before Heading to Evora

After breakfast at the hotel, we will head out on a guided tapas tour of Lisbon on e-bikes that includes lunch. Lisbon has a rich history, beautiful architecture, and their famous tiles throughout the city. After lunch, we will take a private transfer to the guest house where we will all get settled in our new home for the next 5 nights. There may even be time for a dip in one of the 2 pools!

DAY 3: Discover Evora on Foot

Hiking Day!

We will head out on a guided scenic stroll along the 16th-century aqueduct of Evora learning about the local flora, fauna and history along the way. We will leave from the farm on foot and follow the aqueduct trail into the historic town of Evora. Here we will have lunch and explore the heart of Évora, including the haunting Bone’s Chapel, the grand Cathedral, and more. You will learn about the secrets of this city from our local guide. We will end our day with dinner in Evora before being transferred back to the farm.

  • Hike Distance: Approximately 5 miles plus walking around the city.

Yoga, Art & Cycling Day!

Today our day starts with yoga before a delicious breakfast. We then embark for enchanting tour from our basecamp on e-bikes! Starting at Be Aromatic Farm, a charming project led by a couple where Rute, the creative force, shines. Their organic aromatic herbs are a sight to behold, reflecting her designer background.

Here we will participate in a tile painting class where we will learn the techniques of tile paint that are so famous in Portugal!

Back on the bikes! Next, delve into the world of wine at a medieval winery nestled in a 14th-century palace. The opulent surroundings, exquisite wines, and warm hospitality will captivate you. Here we will enjoy lunch and a wine tasting at a Michelin rated restaurant!

We will then ride back to the farm for some downtime before an evening cooking class. Chill by the pool, say hello to the animals, take a nap... you choose.

Once again we will come together to learn how to make a traditional Portuguese meal that we will all enjoy for dinner.

Today our day starts with yoga before breakfast. We then embark again on our e-bikes!

Our journey will take us on to Igrejinha, a quaint village showcasing houses adorned in white with colorful stripes, a picturesque display of local architecture.

Explore a unique project housed in a century-old, charming train station, featuring the versatile prickly pears as their cornerstone. Prepare to be amazed by the creative uses of this intriguing fruit with a delightful tasting experience at the farm.

Cap off the day with an exclusive tour of a cork factory. Witness the fascinating transformation of cork and discover its myriad of applications.

Conclude your adventure with a transfer back to the farm. We'll conclude the night with dinner in Evora, offering a perfect finale to a memorable day.

Yoga, Hike & Spa Day

For our last full day we want you to indulge in a luxurious Roman Spa experience. We have private access to the spa for an unforgettable relaxing time, enjoying time in the bath room, tea, and massages.

But before we head to Evora for our spa experience, some free time for lunch, and shopping, we have one more adventure.

After yoga and breakfast, we will head to the Cromlech of the Almendres, a megalithic complex, located nearby. Built between the end of the 6th and the 3rd millennium BC, this cromlech is one of the biggest and most important megalithic monuments in the world. It is much older than the famous Stonehenge.

After our day in Evora we will head back to the farm for our farewell dinner.

Farewell to Portugal

After a week of creating unforgettable memories, our adventure comes to an end today. You'll have one more opportunity to enjoy morning yoga before breakfast. We will then take a private transfer to the Lisbon Airport. The drive from Evora to Lisbon takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes and you will be dropped off at the airport by 1 pm.

*Please ensure you leave 2-3 hours to check in, clear security, and get to your international gate.

    • Hiking: 3 -5 miles with a loss/gain of elevation under 1,000 ft

    • E-Biking: 10-30 miles per ride

  • Terrain: May include more uneven surfaces with rocks and roots along the trail, as well as an increase in sustained elevation gain and loss when hiking or biking. For biking, you should be comfortable shifting gears on a bike and riding on roads with cars and traffic.

Our trip begins in Lisbon on May 30, 2027 at with a group rendezvous at our Lisbon hotel followed by a welcome dinner and ends with our transfer back to the Lisbon Airport on June 5, 2027.

Arrival Flight Recommendation:

  • Book flights arriving before 4pm

  • Uber or Lyft are the recommended method of transportation to the city. Taxi prices vary widely and are often more expensive.

  • If you arrive the day prior, we recommend booking an additional night at our first hotel. You can do this at check out.

Departure Flight Recommendation:

  • Book flights leaving after 3pm as we will likely arrive at LIS between 12:30 and 1pm.

If purchasing your airfare prior to the trip being confirmed, we recommend purchasing a refundable plane ticket.

INTERNATIONAL DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY

Travel is a big commitment — and so is planning, designing, and hosting a trip. So we’ve built a policy that can be flexible for our Travelers, while still protecting the work that our Hosts and Trip Operators do at each stage of the process.

Deposit. International trips require a non-refundable deposit paid at the time you book your trip. If you cancel your trip in accordance with our cancellation policy, please note that we still keep your deposit and it is not included in the full trip amount.

100% of your deposit may be transferred to another trip under the following conditions:

  • the trip you transfer your deposit to must be departing with one (1) calendar year of the canceled trip; and

  • the transfer must occur within thirty (30) days of your cancellation date.

Cancellation. If you cancel your international trip and decide to not transfer your deposit to another trip, our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • if Participant cancels an international trip 180 days (6 months) or more before the trip start date: Full refund minus a 15% cancellation fee based on the full trip amount;

  • 179-91 days (3-6 months) before trip start date: Full refund minus a 25% cancellation fee based on the full trip amount;

  • 90 - 0 days (0-3 months) before trip start date: No refunds, no exceptions.

Our cancellation policy ensures the best possible experience for everyone.

We strongly recommend purchasing Cancel For Any Reason coverage as part of your travel insurance policy.

Saveria Tilden
Chief Adventure Officer, Founder, Sparkle Maker

Saveria (she/her) has a passion for getting women outdoors. She believes that adventure is defined differently by each individual, and that there is adventure in all of “Us”, which is the inspiration behind the name, AdventurUs. Too often there are barriers that keep women from getting outdoors and Saveria wants to remove these barriers making adventure more inclusive and accessible. 

Saveria has been an educator, coach, and guide in a variety of fields for over 30 years. Over the last decade Saveria has focused on outdoor education teaching outdoor courses and leading trips for the Sierra Club, REI, and he business. She worked for REI Outdoor School as an instructor, teaching a variety of classes including kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, biking, rock climbing, navigation, hiking, backpacking, and more. Saveria is a licensed guide in Oregon, is certified as a Wilderness First Responder, and a Leave No Trace Master Educator. She lives in Bend, OR with her partner and their adventure pups.
