A Slovenian hiking adventure for women who want to be active, and also want to embrace slowing down, exploring, creating, laughing, and enjoying the simple pleasure of being somewhere beautiful together.
Join us as we explore Slovenia’s valleys, mountains, underground wonders, and coastline, discovering how such a small country can offer so many different landscapes and experiences.
We’ll stay beside a glacial lake, hike through the Julian Alps, and breathe in the fresh alpine air. We’ll wander through “Slovenian Tuscany” in the Vipava Valley, hike on Nanos Mountain, taste wonderful local wines and food, and venture underground into Slovenia’s magical caves.
Next, we’ll make our way to the coast, where we’ll discover sustainable fish farming, soak up the sunshine and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine in hand.
Along the way, we’ll paint, sip wine, bake some bread, share stories, try new things, meet new friends, and reconnect with old ones.
A little hiking, a little magic, a little sea — and a lot of Slovenia, shared with a wonderful group of women.

Born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia, Martina grew up spending her summers on the Adriatic coast and weekends hiking with her grandparents. Though her formal background is in healthcare, her heart has always belonged outdoors. During her university years, she fulfilled a childhood dream of becoming a certified scuba diver, later expanding her passion into freediving, sport climbing, and mountaineering.
Martina loves keeping her skills up to date and continually expanding her outdoor knowledge. In 2025, she completed an advanced alpine climbing school for multi-pitch and alpine routes, as well as the Wilderness First Responder course with Endeavour Medical in spring 2025, bringing her healthcare background directly into mountain safety.
Today, Martina guides trips across Croatia, Slovenia, and the broader Balkan region. She spends much of her personal time exploring Slovenia’s mountains and hidden corners, and she loves nothing more than guiding women outdoors, sharing her local knowledge, and leading fun, welcoming, and memorable adventures in nature.
All trips have at least one AdventurUs trip leader in addition to our local guides! Our trip leaders are carefully chosen because they embody the heart of who we are and are passionate about getting women outdoors. They are also have previous guiding experience and are certified Wilderness First Responders.
